Jessica Schneider, owner and creator of Nourished4Life, is a professional coach and educator, specializing in nutritional counseling, detoxification, and addiction support.
Currently working on her Psychology Degree, Jessica received her undergraduate degree in the natural sciences, completed a three year degree in Herbal Medicine at The Chicago College of Healing Arts, and earned her Nutritional Health Coaching Certificate from The Institute of Integrative Nutrition at Purchase College of the State University of New York (SUNY). She is now attending “The Psychology of Eating” to further her education and to continue her psychology degree. Throughout her studies, Jessica has had the rare opportunity to learn from such leaders in the field of nutrition and integrative medicine as Andrew Weil, MD, Deepak Chopra, MD, Annemarie Colbin, PhD, and Elson Hass, MD.
Jessica’s involvement in nutrition began when her own health and well being was compromised. Once weighing 210 pounds and struggling with medical issues, she knew a lifestyle change was necessary. Taking her health in her own hands, Jessica began studying nutrition and herbal medicine and experimenting with detoxification programs. Jessica not only lost excess weight, but she was able, without medication, to heal from her medical conditions.
Her personal journey to recovery sparked her desire and passion to help others achieve optimal health. Incorporating whole, primary foods and nutrition, Jessica counsels and mentors people through the range of obstacles and challenges to good health. Her programs will address your unique needs and will assist and educates you on nutrition
In addition to her work at Nourished4Life, Jessica is the owner of Alternative Therapies of the North Shore. She is a member of the American Herbalist Guild and regularly attends all seminars related to health, integrative nutrition, herbal medicine, detoxification and colon hydrotherapy. Her continuing studies, research, and publications keep her on the forefront of the healing foods industry. She is the mother of four beautiful children, two quirky dogs, and the wife of a very understanding and patient husband.
